Style. Maker.

Kristine Nelson is a photo stylist for interior design and commercial product photography. She also designs and builds sets and unique props for photo shoots.

With a BS in Design and a Minor in Fine Art from UC Davis, Kristine started out working for a custom lighting design manufacturer and showroom at the same time, pursuing coursework in carpentry and welding. She eventually took those skills and began working as a set builder/designer/carpenter on home furnishings catalogs such as Pottery Barn, West Elm and Williams-Sonoma. After five years of full-time set work, she began working on styling teams for the same catalogs and others, while still doing set design on the side.

In her free time she enjoys doing origami, sewing, scouring flea markets and thrift stores, outdoor adventuring and working on renovating her 1940's home in Oakland, California.
